Accelerate processing photos in LightRoom
Actually, America, I will not open, so connoisseurs LightRoom and all have long known.
Recently, to increase the processing speed of images (especially if it’s lots and lots of photos from vacation) using two easy steps:
1. Copy Settings (Ctrl + Shift + c)
2. Presets for the local correction
Copying settings allows you to save the current settings value buffer used when processing photos. You can save everything, starting with the basic tools of correction (white balance, exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.) to the vignetting and gradient filters.
This feature helps me in the processing of serial images, usually from vacation. As a rule, you simply process the first frame, and then copy the settings, applying them to other frames of the series. Under the series in this case I understand footage taken at about the same place under the same lighting conditions, with the same type of framing. Also this method I use, preparing images for further matching pan.
As for the second administration, there are also quite simple. Initially, many perceive the presets as a way to fully process the image – that is, a range of settings, adjusting all aspects of photography – the color, brightness, contrast, sharpness, noise, and so on. Used a preset – were ready to export the photo. However, the presets can be used for fine correction of the picture – in particular, I used to process images from a recent train to Kiev preset, which removes the “blue” (Lower Saturation and Luminance increase for Blue and Aqua). You can also create a special group of presets for handling of the sky – Graduated Filter (size 1 / 3, ½, 2 / 3 frames and exposure to -0.5 -1, -1.5).
preset in order to keep that we need enough to create a preset tick only the needed settings (in my first case – Color Adjustments, in the second – Graduated Filters).
It would seem – a banal thing to these presets, but somehow it just did not happen.
By the way, I do not know how you do, but I have a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Shift + c) works only with English keyboard layout.
