Giving Natural effects in a Photograph
These are the kinds of photographs that you get to see in calendars. This is undoubtedly a beautiful composition done at low shutter speed. The water in itself seems to be a part of the subject and it looks beautiful with the sun’s rays gleaming on it. Great piece of work! But, photography to me is a depiction of the truth and a canvas for my wild ideas; this seems to drag you into a make-believe world and if I had the chance to correct things I would have wanted the model stand in a more natural posture compared to the “arty” looking one depicted here. This photograph to me looks so real that it has escalated itself to the heights of being fiction! The here and the water is a bit too perfect and I would have wanted it to be a bit more blurry with less sharpness. The symmetry of the picture does not look good to me either. The right side seems to be a bit heavy compared to the left side and most important of all, the model seems to be doing something forcefully and not naturally. You would never stand like that and pull off water laden hair without tipping over
